Vegetable Soup (1)

  • 2 carrots, peeled
  • 1 celery
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 big-ass onion
  • 1/2 cup red lentilz
  • 1/2 cup brown lentilz
  • 1/2 cup corn
  • 1 cup shelled edamame (that's soy beans, fool)
  • 1 small can/jar tomato paste
  • 1 8oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 green onion
  • 6 cups veggie stock
  • 3 tbsp neu yeast
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 3 tsp herbs d'provence
  • salt to taste

Alright, alright. First thing, you gonna want to dice one of them carrots, both of them onions, the garlics, and half that celery. Sautee that shit for 'bout 10 minutes. Get the veggie stock, tomato paste and diced tomatoes up in that. Cut the other carrot into semi-circles. Seriously. Same with the celery. Once the the stock and tomatoes are all blended in, puree with your fancy-ass immersion blender or a regular-folk blender.

Now: add in everything else. It's that easy!

Let that shit simmer for 1 (1.0) hour(s).

Finally, go upstairs and put on a diaper. Come back downstairs. Taste the soup. Go back upstairs and change your diaper.

Best served with garlic beard and in the company of cats.
