Amy awoke from a dream a few nights ago with a culinary creation: crispy crucifers! Say that five times fast.

The idea was simple, coat broccoli and cauliflower in chik'n almond bake, bake at 425 for about 30 minutes, and make crispy breaded popcorn veggies.

Well, not quite popcorn veggies...

As you can see, it didn't quite turn out how we expected, but it was pretty darn tasty. Next time, we'll need to look into a better way of getting the breading to stick to the veggies--maybe using soda water?

We served this with Platonic Orzo, which was a perfect complement:
